The core loop

Genre and structure

Alliance Arts describes it as a “tipsy roguelike survival game”;[Games Press] Steam tags it Adventure, Casual and Indie, single-player.[Steam] The structure mixes three things: a luck-and-bluff duel at the bar, light 3D exploration of Pandemonium, and branching story choices.[Denfaminicogamer] Kotaku compared its tone to gambling-horror hits like Buckshot Roulette, and noted the trailer hints at a darker twist in its third act.[Kotaku]

What we can say before launch

• It is not pure luck. The selling point is that rules stop mattering as you get drunk — knowing when to drink, when to sober up and when to cheat is the game.[Steam]
• Sobering up has a cost. The one confirmed trick is literally self-harm, which fits the game’s horror tone.
• Runs differ. The roguelike label and 7+ endings point to replaying; how much carries over between runs is not known yet.
• No public demo. The ~20-minute demo was cancelled, so first-hand rules knowledge is limited to closed playtesters until December 8.[Denfaminicogamer]
