Personality
Femme is a classic yandere: affectionate, obsessive and dangerous. The official press release says she has a supernaturally high alcohol tolerance, wants a soulmate, and believes you would be happier living with her in Hell — so if you lose, she happily keeps you there forever.[Games Press] One preview adds that she promises to make you immortal with hellish liquor if you lose the drinking game.[AUTOMATON WEST]
She calls the player “darling”, and her Steam lines swing between flirting and inviting you to die with her.[Steam] That push-and-pull is the whole hook: she is your opponent, your host and the person who wants you most.
Her name
The English store page spells it Femme Soule.[Steam] The Japanese ファム・スール was romanized as “Fam Sour” in at least one early English article, which is why that spelling still shows up in searches. In French, femme soûle means “drunk woman” — a neat fit for a demon of alcohol, though the developers have not confirmed the pun. The Chinese name 梵·醺儿 uses 醺, meaning tipsy.
Voice actor: Nanahira
Nanahira is credited as the voice on Steam.[Steam] Japanese press confirmed she plays Femme.[Denfaminicogamer] She, WHO YOU and odyk previously worked together on Alliance Arts’ Yunyun Syndrome!? Rhythm Psychosis.[Alliance Arts] Full voice acting is in Japanese only; other languages get subtitles — see languages.
